Survived

We all survived the first day away from one another. And I know for certain that the girls made it through the day better than I did. When we got to Miss Kim's this morning, Hunter didn't miss a beat - she found her chair waiting for her and her favorite morning cartoon on the TV. I even got a big hug from her before I left. Aubrey was sleeping in her car seat when I left, so she was doing good as well. I, on the other hand, wasn't able to get out of Kim's house without a few tears.

The work day went well - no major disasters or fires to put out...just a nice, slow day! I'm sure they all won't be like this :) But for today, I had time to catch up with co-workers and show off pictures of the girls.

If I get a free moment tonight, I need to find some more recipes on line that can be made with little or no preparation (crock pot recipes, etc..). I realize the hardest part of my work day will be figuring out what is for dinner, while trying to tend to the girls (all without the help of Jayson since he is in class 4 nights a week).
