    Successful night

As I'm sure any parent would agree, the first few weeks with a newborn can be rather difficult and there is an adjustment period. I remember when Hunter was a newborn, doing whatever worked during the first 5-6 weeks at night that would allow for both she and I to get some sleep. So, with Aubrey I'm living by the same plan Well, until last night what worked was she and I sleeping either in the recliner or sitting up a bit in bed, while she slept on my chest. Don't get me wrong, I've tried the bassinet, but she wouldn't last very long in there before she was stirring...which meant I wasn't sleeping either. Well, last night I gave the bassinet another try and she did GREAT. She slept in her bed the entire night (of course, she woke up for a couple feedings) and then was right back to sleep in her bed....yippy! I hope this continues because I was able to sleep on my side - which was nice!

That is great Aubrey, keep up the good work. I know you Heather was glad to be able to sleep on your side again.
