Getting closer

Have you noticed my tickler to Baby M - today is says 2weeks and 2days until we meet her! WOW!! And in case you are wondering, I have officially hit the uncomfortable stage of late 3rd trimester pregnancy. In some ways I feel like I'm back to the 1st trimester again because my energy level has dropped. Though, I do get a few gusts of energy and in those moments I'm all about nesting and getting every detail ready for when Baby arrives. I've had Jayson working on various projects around the house all week. One of the last and most important tasks still on our list is to paint her room (hint, hint honey!). Though, to his credit - he has been busy working on other projects....but time is running out and soon we will be very busy with a newborn, so no time like the present.

We had a check up on Wednesday and got to see Baby M on the ultrasound once again. Her weight is estimated at 6lbs 2oz (Hunter was 6lbs 13oz at birth). She is in the correct position for delivery (if that mattered in our case). She really didn't like the U/S Tech pushing around in her space and would kick or punch back at him. Though, it was neat to see her get calm and lay still when he put the wand by her head. She turned her head so her ear as to the outside and listened. She's a good girl - already paying attention. I've been experiencing some contractions, but they don't stick around very long...darn! I see my doctor again on Monday for another check-up.

I'm so thankful for the cooler temperatures we are experiencing right now. I hope mother nature continues to bless us with days like this! I can deal with upper 70s / low 80s - perfect weather for this pregnant lady!
