First doctor appointment at one week old

Today, was Aubrey's first trip to the doctor. As expected, she is doing great. She is almost back to her birth weight, as she is at 6lbs 10oz. She was discharged from the hospital on Thursday at 6lbs 4oz. She slept through the whole car ride. Jayson and I reminisced back to when Hunter use to do that too...haha....not anymore.

While Aubrey slept, mommy and daddy sang songs to keep Hunter entertained. The most requested song of the day was Itsy-Bitsy Spider. I laughed at one point and asked Jayson if a few years ago, he imagined that he would be driving down the road, all the while, doing the hand motions to a children's song. Boy, how our life has changed in just 2 short years. And of course, we wouldn't have it any other way!

Earlier this morning, Hunter and mommy had some quality time together. We took a walk around the neighborhood, just the two of us. She pushed a doll in her baby stroller and we enjoyed spending a few quiet moments together.
